Beijing No.2 Intermediate People's Court recently rendered a final judgement on distributing counterfeit GUCCI suitcase. Two defendants surnamed Song and Cai were sentenced to two years and one year imprisonment respectively along with fines of 150,000 yuan for each of them.

Song and Cai have begun distributing counterfeit GUCCI suitcase in Beijing since 2010. After receiving a tip on their activity, Beijing police seized 2,500+ counterfeit GUCCI suitcase with a total value of 300,000 yuan in a Chaoyang District location and arrested the suspects.

The court held that the two defandants knowingly distributed bags with counterfeit registered trademark and the amount of proceeds involved was significant, crime was constituted.  So ordered.
