Patent attorney prospects from Taiwan now can register for this year's exam from July 18 to August 5, according to a public notice released by SIPO on June 21.

Based on relevant regulations on patent agency administration, the notice indicates that Taiwan residents meeting the following requirements can register for exam at the Fuzhou test center: the applicant should be above 18 years old and have a complete civil capacity, have a college degree in science or engineering, is familiar with patent law and relevant legal knowledge, having at least two-year working experience in the field of science and technology. Qualifing examinees should check in at the Fuzhou test center on November 4 and will be issued an admission card to take the exam.

This year's exam will take place from November 5 to 6 in several cities in the mainland.
