The 2014 Nanjing Youth Olympic Games (YOG) emblem which was a symbol for the energy of youth and Nanjing culture as a whole was unveiled to the public on May 19. In the meantime, the protection of YOG IPRs was launched in a bid to intensify enforcement and improve IPR protection environment.
Nanjing Youth Olympic Games Organizing Committee ( NYOGOC) filed the symbol with the Trade Mark Office under the State Administration of Industry and Commerce for its emblem on 45 categories of good and services. NYOGOC was planning to formulate the measures for the using of YOG symbol with a view to combat violations of the symbols, according to an official of YOG.
