The Trademark Office under the State Administration for Industry and Commerce, on October 8, has so far determined 296 new well-known marks in their proceedings of trademark administration (217), opposition (11) or dispute (68).

According to incomplete statistics, as of the end of the first half of this year, China has cumulatively determined above 1,600 such marks in proceedings of trademark administration and 400 marks in judicial proceedings, both saw a rapid rise.
