Beijing launches subsidiary for patent commercialization on September 28. Patentees in Beijing can gain a maximum of 1 million yuan fund established by Beijing IP Office and Municipal Bureau of Finance for their qualified patent assignment and licensing activities.

According to the Beijing's Promotion Measures on Patent Commercialization, for the income-based patent transfer or license, the funding level is 5% for the part in excess of trade volume of 5 million yuan and the maximum aid financing is 500,000 yuan. For the transferee or licensee  where their registration place is in Beijing, the funding level is 10% for the part in excess of 5 million yuan with the maximum of 1 million yuan.
