The screening process for the 12th China patent award co-hosted by the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) and SIPO initiated recently. Compared with the previous events, design is singled out for awarding with awards to be given to 10 winners covering five classes including home appliances, digital products and accessories.   

The covered classes are home appliances, include TV, air conditioner, refrigerator, washer; digital and accessory, include mainly cell phone, notebook PC and desk top PC; vehicle, include automobile, ship, boat and microbus; household items, include kitchen ware, dinnerware ,vase, interior decoration; fasion, include glass, jewelry, watch and dress.
