Expo IP Service Center Receives 82 Requests

As informed by the Shanghai IP service center for World Expo exhibitors on May 25, the center has accepted 82 requests for service since its establishment on April 15, covering offering proofs for the participating parties, music copyright registration, consultations and complaints.


The center produces proofs for the inventions, which could keep novelty fresh for another 6 months from the date of show when filing for a patent application in China. It also provides  certificates for participating artists, which help them protecting their copyright. As of now, the center has received requests for exhibition certificate from 10 Expo participates including Mexico pavilion and Germany pavilion, 8 certificates for perfromance from performing groups.
