It was learned that Chinese delegation took 27 inventions with them to the fair, which included not only the technological innovations from the frontline workers in Bao Steel Group, research results from technological personnel's from universities and private sector, but also inventions works from middle school students. Focus on real issues in daily life and production, those inventions put a lot of emphasis on energy conservation and environmental protection. Most of the inventions have independent intellectual property rights.

The Chinese delegation won 8 gold, 9 silver and 6 bronze medals and four Lepine Competition prizes, registering a all-winning good record.
