The panel of judges of the Patent Agent Exam issued the 2009 Patent Agent Qualification Certificate Exam’s minimum passing mark. The passing marks include: 150 on law knowledge (including patent law knowledge and relevant laws knowledge), and 90 on agent practice ( i.e. the score on agent practice exam alone). In 2009, there were 11,805 people in total signed up for the Patent Agent Qualification Certificate Exam with 7,393 examinees participated in the Patent Law Knowledge Exam, 7,265 examinees participated in the Relevant Laws Knowledge Exam and 6,912 in the Patent Agent Practice Exam.
