Premier of the State Council Wen Jiabao recently signed the decree of the State Council of the PRC (No.569) and promulgated the Decision made on the Amendment of the Rules for the Implementation of the Patent Law. Revised Rules for the Implementation Patent Law would be put into practice on Feb 1st, 2010.

There are overall 11 chapters, 123 articles in the revised Rules for the Implementation Patent Law, including general provisions, application of patent, examination and grant of patent application, the reexamination of the patent application and invalidation of the patent right, compulsory license for exploitation of patent, reward and remuneration of inventors or creators of service inventions-creations, protection of patent right, patent registration and patent gazette, fees, special provisions concerning international application, supplementary provisions and etc.
