The Third China Patent Week, organized by SIPO and supported by 17 central authorities, governments in 31 provinces and 38 state patent display centers, was concluded on November 16. According to SIPO incomplete statistics, 155 contracts of 960 million yuan were inked.

During the week, 161 events took place while 6,000 companies and 180,000 participants either showcased or visited booths of cumulative 55,000 square meters. Some 480 letters of intend were singed, inking in excess of 5.3 billion yuan. Some 20,000 visitors participated in 147 seminars or workshops.
