After its inaugural efforts in 2008, SIPO launches another round of pilot financing program for IPR pledging, allowing six local IP administrations in Chengdu (Sichuan), Wuxi (Jiangsu), Wenzhou (Zhejiang), Yichang (Hubei), Guangzhou (Guangdong) and Dongguan(Guangdong) to execute the program in their regions.
The program starts from September 2009 and finishes in three years.  These regions are expected to design their own programs to ensure efficiency of IPR financing for local SMEs, to find effective solutions for commercialization of IPRs and facilitate marriage of innovation and captial.
