The Shengli Oil Field Shengli Power Machinery Group Co Ltd (Shengdong Group), a leading professional gas engine manufacturer, has long implemented an active policy in terms of independent innovation.

While seeking to perfect its technology, services and equipment, it has also sought to develop safety and technology protection measures through practical applications aimed at safeguarding the interests of end users.

Taier

The Dongying Taier Petrol Technology Co Ltd focuses on energy exploration and has secured several patents within the petroleum industry. Since its establishment, the company has successfully completed over 100 complex well field constructions in China and overseas.

Its patented technologies, including low-density drilling fluid technology and multifunctional leak stoppage applications, have been warmly welcomed by the industry.

The proprietary products developed by the company are widely used in the Tarim Oilfield, the Marine Strata Regions in southern China, the Shengli oilfield, the Dagang oilfield, the Qinghe oilfield, and in the Iran Kuhdasht oilfield.

Aquatic-product company

The Yellow Sea Aquatic Product Co Ltd, a top-class joint venture enterprise in the production and sale of edible fish and seedlings, attaches considerable importance to IPR.

The company sets great stock by independent research and invention. Nowadays, its technology center employs 72 researchers, among which 68 are senior.

It sets out to fully capitalize on its IPR resources. It has standardized all of its procedures for IPR administration, developed an annual and long-term IPR strategy, and devised a direct route for its IPR applications.

Through the exercise of IPR for pioneering inventions, the company has secured considerable economic benefit. From 2006 to 2008, the use of its patent on "Chinese penaeus artificial sperm transplantation" helped 63 percent of all Chinese penaeus seedlings survive, allowing the total number of surviving seedlings to reach a stunning 1.21 billion.
