Since its formation two years ago, Shunde patent alliance of electric pressure oven has doubled its membership, according to a recent corporate patent conference.

In October 2006, Midea and 3 other companies formed the alliance in Shunde District, Foshan, Guangzhou.  Four members now turn 7 while patents in the pool grow from 46 to 195, accounting for 20% of all domestic patents in the field.
