Office of the Shanghai IPR Joint Conference issued the Plan for the Special Campaign in Protecting Expo IPRs on June 29 in a bid to strengthen public awareness of IPR protection, intensify enforcement of authorities, increase protection efficiency and improve IPR protection environment.

Ten key tasks shall be implemented during the campaign spanning from this July to October 2010, including bringing more coverage of IPR protection for the Expo; inviting professionals to consult participating parties on IPR, such as right acquisition; establishing internal protection system by offering proofs for the participating parties; resolving IPR disputes on site; stepping up market watch to combat infringement of Expo symbols, licensed merchandise and other IPR infringement.
