SIPO locks with 10 organizations as the first group of patent protection partners, 1 judicial authority, 7 R & D centers and 2 legal services. These partners will consult IP administrations on patent enforcement, participate in research and discussion of difficult cases and diffuse information and experience on promoting innovative development through patent protection.
In April, SIPO issued the Circular on Near-Term Enforcement Tasks of IP Administrations. In the next stage, SIPO will commence selection of the second group of such partners while monitoring and analyze the operation of the first group to enable them serve patent enforcement effectively.
