Outline of the National Intellectual Property Strategy Issued for a year, Custom Delivered a Good Report

June 5th marked the one year anniversary of the issuance of Outline of the National Intellectual Property Strategy (hereafter referred to as Strategy). Up to May, 2009, customs offices throughout the country have seized more than 20,000 parcels of import and export infringing goods, involving more than 500 million articles with a sequential growth rate increase of more than 100%.

It's estimated that after one year's implementation of the Strategy, there have been 443 cases that goods violating domestic enterprises' proprietary IPR seized by customs offices throughout the country, involving more than 17 million infringing goods. The repute of our export products has been effectively safeguarded.
