Recently, the Organizing Committee of the National Publicity Week of IPR Protection is established, consisting of 24 departments such as SIPO, Central Propaganda Department, State Administration for Industry and Commerce and State Council Information Office.

Since 2008, SIPO has been undertaking the work of organizing, preparing and coordinating the activity of "Publicity Week of IPR Protection" nationwide. Initiated in 2004, the activity has aroused sound social effect and public opinion.

Currently, the organizing committee has drafted the Plan for the Publicity Week of IPR Protection Nationwide in 2009.
