Management of the Wuhan Economic and Technological Development Area decides to appropriate 30 million yuan to 60 innovative companies with self-reliant IPRs.  A principal says the reason money only flows to these companies because they have better chance to generate more blood with the donated blood, creating a perfect innovative cycle.

The Area boasts 2,000 companies, mostly engaging in auto and auto parts, others in electronics, paper making, printing, packaging, food and beverage, 700 of which are larger ones.  Transnationals such as Citroen (France), Hyundai (Republic of Korea) and Honda (Japan) have presence there.
