Guangzhou to Implement IPR legislation for Asian Games

The Guangzhou Regulations on the IPR Protection for the Asian Games are to be in force from January 11.  Defining any act of using the IPRs for commercial purpose without authorization constitutes wrongdoing.

The Regulations contains 20 articles, which define IPRs of the Asian Games and acts infringing the rights, identify missions of administrative agencies; establish an inter-agency coordination system and a first called, first responsible mechanism, prescribe avenue for settling disputes, enforcement actions and legal consequences of infringement.
