On November 26, a seminar to solicit opinions on the Modification Draft of the Regulations on the Implementation of the Patent Law of the People’s Republic of China (for opinion solicitation) is held in Qingdao.

At the seminar, related officials from SIPO Legal Affairs Department briefs on the background and the major process of modifying the Implementation Rules of Patent Law, the major contents of the modification and the goal and significance of modifying some specific clauses. Participants have in-depth discussion upon the Modification Draft of the Regulations on the Implementation of the Patent Law of the People’s Republic of China, and put forward many opinions and suggestions from various angles such as patent administrative management and protection, judicial protection, patent administration in enterprises and institutions and affairs related to patent agencies on the basis of the real work of their respective departments.

More than 30 representatives from patent administrative departments, judicial departments and some key enterprises and institutions in some regions of Shandong Province participate in the seminar.
