Next generation optical storage product, red-laser high-definition NVD player hit the market in Wuhan recently. Self-reliant-IP-supported NVD player and disks are officially for sale.

It is reported that NVD’s technical specifications are very likely to be recognized as the national standard for the next generation high-definition optical disk.  Supported by essential IPRs and with unique encryption technology, NVD offers an ideal strategic option for national defense and protection of classified information.  In addition, the technology may help current DVD assembly lines upgrade to high definition compatible.  Hopefully, this may stimulate domestic demand and promote the adjustment of industries structure.
