Working Conference of the National Aptitude Test for Patent Agencies Held Smoothly

SIPO recently holds the Working Conference of 2008 National Aptitude Test for Patent Agencies in Hulunbeier City of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. The conference is of great importance to further standardizing the test and ensure a smooth examination process.

At the conference, related head of SIPO introduces the general situations of the Aptitude Test for Patent Agencies, stresses the importance of strengthening the test secrecy work and enforcing examination disciplines to the maintenance of a just and fair examination environment, and deploys the next-stage examination work, requiring competent departments of various regions to pragmatically do the work of arranging examination rooms, distributing exam admission permits, managing examination papers, arranging invigilators and trainings, and strictly abide by the avoidance system to ensure a smooth process of 2008 Aptitude Test for Patent Agencies.

Focusing on the examination work, participants conduct full exchanges, sum up the previous working experience, explore new working modes and fully discuss on other works of related standardization documents and administration of patent agencies. The participants believe unanimously that perfect examination system, scrupulous working styles and reasonable utilization of various resources are the important factors to ensure a smooth process of the work. Meanwhile, they also put forward many constructive suggestions, which the SIPO leader agree to consider in the future examination work.

The work of 2008 Aptitude Test for Patent Agencies has been fully unfolded in China and the work such as examination place arrangement, examination registration and examinational certification manufacture  have completed smoothly. Statistics show that a total of 8,766 people have been registered for the examination, a year-on-year growth of 5.28 percent. The examination will be held on November 1 and 2 in 12 examination places nationwide.
