NCA Dishes out 3.2 Million Yuan to Piracy Fighters

The National Copyright Administration (NCA) announces that it will extol and award 120 organizations and 94 individuals performing remarkably in the investigation of major cases in fight against infringement and piracy. The sum of prize is 3.295 million yuan. The NCA carries out such awarding activity for the first time under Interim Measures on Rewarding the Report and Investigation of Infringement and Piracy.

The prized organizations include Chongqing Copyright Administration, No.4 Unit of the Economic Affairs Investigation Team of Shanghai Police Department, Fujian Enforcement Team against Pornographic and Illegal Publications; individuals include Hu Haitao from Copyright Enforcement Division of Beijing Copyright Administration. The prizes will be allocated from the rewarding fund established by the NCA in 2007 for combating infringement and piracy.
