(Fujian Branch of SIPO Website) The sixth China Cross-Straits Technology and Projects Fair (CSTPF) starts in Fuzhou, Fujian Province recently. SIPO Deputy Commissioner Zhang Qin participates in the opening ceremony and watches the exhibition with Ye Shuangyu, Vice Governor of Fujian Provincial Government and Deputy Head of Fujian Provincial Leading Group of IPR Protection.

One of the sponsors of the Fair, SIPO expands its exhibition area to 90 square meters this year and initiates exhibitions of patent projects, displaying 43 patent projects. Meanwhile, SIPO also organizes patent agencies to supply IP consultation at the Fair for the first time, effectively playing the roles of patent intermediate organizations by resolving problems of many inventors at the Fair. During the exhibition, SIPO totally distributes more than 5,000 pamphlets of various kinds and handles nearly 300 consultations.

The six CSTPF newly adds four sponsoring units, which are Chinese Academy of Engineering, All-China Women’s Federation, Western Returned Scholars Association & Chinese Overseas-Educated Scholars Association and Macau SAR, boasting the largest number of sponsoring units, participants and academicians of Chinese Academy of Sciences and Chinese Academy of Engineering who participate in the Fair in its history.
