Winners of China Highest Science and Technology Prizes Make Remarkable Contribution to IP

Min Enze, an academician of China Engineering Academy, and Mr. Wu Zhengyi, a famous botanist, two winners of China's highest science and technology prize, have also made remarkable contribution to China's IP work.

Mr. Min, a well-known expert in oil refining catalysts technology, owns 140 Chinese patents and 32 in other countries.

Mr. Wu, a famous botanist with 70-year experience in research and education in botanical field, is a leading scholar in systematic botany, phylogenetic botany, floristic plant geography, biodiversity conservation and plant resources, and has made significant contribution to plant geography zoning and biodiversity. His theory has become the ground of China biodiversity protection and sustainable use of plant resources in future.

All the projects granted with China National Award for Technological Invention last year have their own IPR, 39 projects winning 236 patents. One of them even earned 23 patents.
