The Chinese Ministry of Commerce (MOC) issued the Consensus on Promoting Regulated Development of E-commerce days ago. The document stresses to keep on the safety of the business information, prevent and stop stealing trade secret by internet and offering the users' information to the third party for making profits.
The Consensus will regulate transmission of E-commerce information, optimize the environment of online business, safeguard the business information, lead E-business companies to establish and complete security system for their network and information protection, take effective measures to guarantee the safety of web station and the safety and security of users' information, prevent and stop stealing trade secret through internet and offering the users' information to the third party for making profits, guarantee the effective transmission of information, and crack down cheating at the E-commerce field.
In addition, the document also makes stipulations on the following points, such as fully understanding of the significance of promoting regular development of E-commerce, regulating E-commerce to promote the order and harmony of internet market, E-payment to guarantee the payment security as well as commodity delivery, and completing the system of logistics. The consensus also asks for establishing guarantee measures for regular development of E-commerce and strengthening management of E-commerce.
It's learnt that the document is formulated for further implementing the Consensus of State Council on Promoting the Development of Distribution Industry and Consensus of the General Office of State Council on Speeding Up the Development of E-commerce, and also basing on the current development of E-commerce in China.
