The General Administration of Press and Publication and the National Copyright Administration (NCA) of China signed an agreement in the National Copyright Administration, symbolizing the formal start of the project of a digital copyright supervision and authentication system.

The agreement focuses on the first term of the project, covering a platform for copyright working and coordinating, copyright piracy reporting system and copyright case management system. The platforms for copyright working and coordinating consists of administer working system, copyright routine work management system, copyright law enforcement document exchange system, and national copyright information analysis system.

The copyright piracy reporting system is for dealing with the acceptance and forward of piracy case reports, following the investigation of such cases and processing rewards to the merits of those who have reported and investigated the crimes.

The copyright case management system will enable NCA to manage and follow the investigation and conduction of relevant cases dealt with NCA branches in each province and municipalities, especially to oversee the handling of major cases.
