In the morning of December 7, the 3-day-long 2007 China International Industrial Design Summit Forum & the 12th China Industrial Design Annual Conference was opened in Baoan district of Shenzhen city. The theme of the forum is "from Made in China toward Created in China –Innovation, Development and Win-Win".

More than 20 experts form home and abroad, such as Ron Nabarro, the Chairman of examination team of Red Dot Award, and Professor He Renke, Vice Chairman of China Industrial Design Association gave wonderful presentations.

The Summit Forum was jointly organized by the SIPO Examination Department of Appearance Design, the Industrial Design Branch of Chinese Mechanical Engineering Society, Shenzhen Cultural Industry Development Office, as well as Baoan District Government, and was undertaken by Baoan District Cultural Industry Development Office, 3NOD Group, as well as Maxypro Product Scheme Company.

During the forum, a series of activities were held, such as the 5th China Industrial Design Competition, the summit forum of "from Made in China toward Created in China – Innovation, Development, Win-Win", a dialogue between designer and enterprises, as well as China IPR Protection Forum, etc.
