In a meeting with media on November 28 in Beijing, the Quality Brands Protection Committee (QBPC) sent an open letter to the public, asking them to respect IPRs, staying away from counterfeits and pirated goods and keeping counterfeiting and infringement off from the Beijing2008  Olympics.

After analyzing two typical IPR infringement cases to the media, a QBPC executive summarized the new trend of counterfeiting and infringement activities and shared his suggestions on what the media could do to mitigate them.
