According a report on the website of China Customs on November 7, even though the frequent changes in trade and enterprises with authority of IPR holders, there are still a lot of IPR holders have not apply to the customs administration to renew their authorized enterprise list on time, and thus leading to some unnecessary disputes and delay in passing through the customs. So enterprises should renew its IP record on time to cooperate the customs' check.

In recent years, IPR protection from China Customs has come to more and more effective, thus relevant cases and disputes turn to be increasing. Right now, when China Customs checking imports or exports for infringement to IPR, it usually takes reference to IPR records in its computer system. If the enterprise is authorized, then there won't any problem, otherwise the customs will contact the IPR holder through relevant department to check the information. So, the IPR holders protected the customs should apply for renewing its IPR record on time.
