Jiang Zhipei, Chief Justice of the Intellectual Property Rights Tribunal of the Supreme People's Court of China, recently pointed out that by the end of June, 2007, a total of 23,434 judgment documents had been publicized through the Internet by courts of various levels nationwide. The general quality of these documents was greatly improved with reason explanation greatly strengthened.

On March 10, 2006, the Intellectual Property Rights Tribunal of the Supreme People's Court and Chinacourt.org jointly launched the website of "China IPR Judgments and Decisions" to timely publicize effective IPR judgment documents made by the people's courts of various levels nationwide, and reflect the developments of IPR trial work. This website not only provides a unified platform for courts of various levels nationwide to publicize their effective IPR judgment documents, but also serves as an important window for people at home and abroad to understand the judicial protection situation of China's IPR, greatly improving the openness and transparency of case trial and increasing the public credibility of China's judicatory.
