Chinese government's Official Web Portal (www.gov.cn) opened a special column "law-enforcement and supervision" on March 15, International Day for Protecting Consumers' Rights, which releases administrative law-enforcement information closely concerning consumers in a centralized way. It includes information about sham commodities and IP infringements investigated and penalized. The public mass can make inquiry by logging onto the website (www.gov.cn/zfjg/).
The special column "Law-enforcement and Supervision" includes 10 sub-columns: "Latest Release", "Foodstuff", "Medicine", "Advertisement", "Consumption", "Education", "Intellectual Property", "Medical Care and Health", "Environment" and "Weather". Information to be released on the "Intellectual Property" column is to be provided by the State Intellectual Property Office (SIPO) and related departments. In the future, the Chinese government's Official Web Portal will timely make some necessary adjustments to its sub-columns in light of the public demand so as to make access to it more convenient.
