Organizers of the 2019 International Horticultural Exposition have begun soliciting new plant varieties from around the world for a special competition, with its awards ceremony slated to take place in early July. The selected candidates will be displayed at a themed exhibition area of the expo. Online voters, visitors and an expert panel will decide the award-wining displays. Awards include special contribution to proprietary intellectual property, the most popular plant with consumers, the most market potential and acute judgement in introducing new plant varieties.
