On June 19, 2007 the Eurasian Patent Organization and the African Intellectual Property Organization signed a Framework Agreement on Cooperation. The purpose of the Agreement is to establish cooperation between organizations in the field of industrial property. The Parties have agreed on mutual exchange of patent documentation, organization of joint meetings and exchange of experience in the field of industrial property protection.
