From 11 to 12 December, the SIPO, IPD of HKSAR and Economic Services of Macao SAR co-organized the 2004 Mainland, HKSAR and Macao SARs IP Symposium at the China IP Training Center, which was the fourth time for the three offices. More than 150 officials, experts, scholars and lawyers from the Mainland, HKSAR and Macao SAR in the field of IP attend the symposium and exchanged views on many topics such as latest IP development, how to promote economic development through IP exploitation, IP and SMEs, IP protection. Mr. Li Yuguang, Deputy Commissioner of the SIPO, Mr. Stephen Selby, Director of IPD of HKSAR, and Mr. Tai Kin Ip, Acting Deputy Director of Economic Services of Macao SAR addressed at the opening and closing ceremonies.
