Recently, the Competition for the Transmission and Promotion of Beijing Central Axis kicked off in Beijing. The idea of this competition is to fully display the charm of the Central Axis and help it to attain UNESCO intangible cultural heritage status. Therefore the competition has also invited the public, including international visitors, to participate in the efforts for the Central Axis, either by telling their own stories or giving performances related to this historical site.

This competition consists of five tracks, inviting the public to provide renovation plans for time-honored brands along the Central Axis, photos and short videos, creative and cultural products, as well as digital expressions of the landscape and culture of the axis.
