On November 2, CNIPA Commissioner Shen Changyu and IPOS Chief Executive Rena Lee had a meeting online, focusing on the major progress in bilateral cooperation in recent years and the plan for future cooperation.
Dr. Shen briefed the latest progress in China's IP work. He said that the two offices have conducted fruitful cooperation. During the COVID-19 pandemic, the two offices have maintained active communication and carried out in-depth cooperation in high-level exchanges, PPH pilot program, personnel training and the construction of China-Singapore Guangzhou Knowledge City, said Shen. He also hoped that the two offices could deepen exchanges and cooperation in national IP policies, AI IP protection and other fields, share experiences and practices, enhance mutual trust and jointly promote the development of IP causes in the two countries.
Mrs. Rena Lee highly appreciated the progress made in bilateral cooperation between the two offices. IPOS is ready to continue to share the best experience with CNIPA, and she hoped that the two offices could strengthen cooperation and exchanges in areas like patent examination and IP training, in order to make greater contributions to the development of IP causes in the two countries.
