Eastern Shandong Province's port city of Qingdao will host the International Copyright Fair 2019 in July, local authorities said Wednesday.
Organized by the provincial copyright administration and the municipal government, the fair will be held between July 5 and 7. The first Intellectual Property (IP) licensing center of the country will be set up at the fair, authorities said at a press conference.
Participants from home and abroad will cover a wide range of fields in the IP industry, such as food, cartoon, cyber games, toys, cultural and tourism products and online literature, according to the organizers.
International organizations, including the International Federation of the Phonographic Industry, will take part.
Forums featuring a variety of topics, such as the development of China's IPR and copyright protection, and exhibitions will be held at the fair.
